Great spot for seafood! Try the platters. Cannot go wrong at The Clam Digger.

Great food and very delicious. The place is just a little bit/shack that can get pretty busy so either go early or after the lunch rush. Don’t get more than 1 or 2 platters as the only difference is fries which can get overwhelmingly much. Very good lobster roll and clams are amazing. The fish and chips are a bit thin but still decent. The seafood platter is a good sampler for you to try and then get seconds once you know what you like. Burgers and Hotdogs are good as fillers just for kids but you shouldn’t be going there for that. Stick to the seafood.

Wayyyyy too many fries, clams were excellent, called a platter with only clams and fries? Fair dining value.

Friendly service.The best fried clam plater I've had in a long. My husband took the swiss burger melt loved it. The portions are big priced fair and taxes are included in the price so what you see is what you pay. Will be a must do again when traveling this scenic part of the province. Thanks again.

Seafood Platter - greasy, undercooked, and small portion of clams and scallops, piled so as to hide ALL THOSE GREASY FRIES. Why does this place have a rating anywhere near a 4 or 5? Perhaps the burgers and dogs are great... I won't be finding out because I won't go back.

Fish and chips were fantastic! Gravy sucked, tasted like can gravy. The fish batter was light and crispy and the pieces were big! The 3 piece was plenty for 2 people. It was very good! Homemade tartar sauce was very good. Its picnic table style seating. Very popular place! Worth the wait.

We have been trying to get to the Clam Digger for a couple years now and yesterday we finally got there!!! We were not disappointed. In fact, I could not have been a happier camper...lol!!! There were lots of tables available to sit at and easy to find one that was in the shade. The food...well it was amazing and not at all greasy!!! We got the 2 piece Fish & Chips and the Whole Clam Platter. The batter on the fish was so crisp and the clams...where do I even start!!! Let's just say they were the BEST clams I've ever had!!! 😋 I was also very pleased with the portions...you won't leave hungry!!! 😀We will definitely be going back!!! 👍👍

Scallops were very expensive but well worth it! They lack parking definitely and that's why it only gets 4 stars instead of 5. Being a roadside stop you need to have enough space for people to actually stop. Can't go wrong with whatever food you order!

Despite the challenges of working safely in a Pandemic, the food was excellent (as usual). They are a go to for fish and chips, clams and chips and yes a lot of options, including non seafood dishes.The steady stream of happy customers are a testimony to the consistent quality of their food.The staff was friendly and helpful and add to making this take out experience memorable.

Excellent service and food. Lobster platters are so fresh and delicious... Just love visiting this take out. Always go there whenever we're in St. Andrew's. There are lots of picnic tables there to sit at, plus there is a play area for children. They also serve ice cream too. Very clean grounds. Well kept.

Clams were as fantastic as expected. It's an amazing treat coming from Toronto - have not found clams like this anywhere else in the world but New Brunswick.

The fried clams and the fish burgers are simply delicious. The batter on them are fairly light which is how I like it. The service is quick, friendly and they are well organized in this COVID time.

This is an unpretentious little spot for fresh seafood. I think this might be where locals go for seafood. There is no dining room so this is strictly a take-out place. They do have a few picnic tables. You could eat in your car like we did or you can take it home or to a hotel. .

We have wanted to go here for a long time. The reviews were high amd everyone who we spoke to said this was the place to go for seafood. Yes it is fresh seafood- at least to say we we visited. I enjoyed my seafood platter. The fish was just ok. Alittle batter soggy in the middle. Not a pleaser on my end. And the fries were near cooked- by saying this it was almost cooked to prefection. I like my fries with a little crunch. Not bad over all. But not as hyped

Fast service ! We called ahead and it was ready in ten minutes. Delicious food. Nice picnic area. Hot. Plenty of food for the money

Best bang for your buck, freshest clams we had on all of the east coast, the scallops were great too. Our first meal since entering the east coast and definitelyset a high bar for the rest of our trip. We had the seafood platter and lobster roll, all was good ! WouldDefinitely want to stop again for clams and scallops. You can literally taste the ocean in the clams .

Good value, huge portions. Don't be in a rush though, lots of tables and friendly staff came and cleaned our table. Pleasant experience, will be back!!

We ordered the Fish & Chips it was hot, fresh, crispy, flavorful and most affordable! Strawberry mikshake was good but the hamburger was dry.

Good food. Hats off to buddy who cleans the bathroom after each person that uses it.

Super tasty, flakey fish. Add a tartar sauce addict it wasn't needed. And something special in my eyes the fries were served salted.

I got the seafood platter and everything was delicious except the scallops. They were small and over cooked. Scallops are my favorite so I was alittle disappointed.

Had the Seafood Platter. Probably the best haddock I've ever had. The whole clams were delicious as were the scallops. Couldn't eat all the fries. If you love seafood it's worth the stop!

Have tried literally everywhere in the area and I won’t lessen the deliciousness of this restaurant’s food by comparing it. The fried clams and homemade tartar sauce was amazing. Fries were perfectly complimentary and fish was spot on. Only place I’ve enjoyed this much is The Old York in Toronto and that was halibut so to compare the two is really almost impossible.

Great east coast food! We got two seafood platters for 4 people .. One would have sufficed, huge portions! Really friendly and fast service.
